Emergency Services

About Us

Our two divisions are a team of skilled professionals whose main focus is the well-being of our campus community.

The UTC Police Department provides 24/7 protection for the UTC campus each and every day. We serve our campus community by providing police and security services, emergency communication and a variety of training.

Safety and Risk Management also serves and protects our community by monitoring life safety equipment, helping with environmental and health compliance and training.

If an emergency occurs on campus, how will you know?

The UTC-ALERT system is designed to inform the UTC community in the event of an emergency. UTC-ALERT’s vital messages are sent via text, email, social media and more.

Students, faculty and staff can sign up to receive UTC-ALERT's with a valid email address and cell phone number.
