Completing the Learning and Leadership Exit Survey
Every graduate is requested to complete the Learning and Leadership Doctorate Exit Survey online prior to or immediately following graduation. Following approval and acceptance of the Dissertation by the Graduate School, the Program Office will email the candidate the survey link during the final week in the semester in which the candidate completes the Dissertation process.
Diplomas and Transcripts
Diploma policies may be accessed online through the Records Office website (link: Records Office - scroll down to the Graduation section).
Transcript policies may be access online through the Records Office website (link: Records Office - select Order Your Transcript).
Upon request, a degree completion statement may be applied to the official transcript by the Records Office to indicate all degree requirements have been met. Please note that this request will only be honored if all of the following conditions have been met:
- The Dissertation has been successfully defended (Final Defense)
- All Dissertation edits requested by the Dissertation Committee have been approved
- The Dissertation has been uploaded to UTC Scholar for formatting review
- The Dissertation has received final approval from the Graduate School
- Final grades have posted for any Dissertation (LEAD 7999) credit hours in progress

Distance students may arrange to have regalia orders shipped from the UTC Bookstore to a home address by contacting the Bookstore Assistant Manager at 423.425.5362 or email@example.com, preferably 8-10 weeks prior to the Commencement ceremony. Please be prepared to provide your shipping and payment information. Any questions regarding graduation regalia may be directed to the staff at the UTC Bookstore (link: Bookstore).

Ordering Dissertation Copies (Optional)
Once the manuscript has been approved by the Graduate School via UTC Scholar (link: UTC Scholar), candidates may choose to purchase bound copies of the final Dissertation for themselves or as a gift. Dissertation binding services are not offered by UTC Scholar; however, they may be purchased through the UTC Bookstore or ProQuest UMI.

The printed manuscript will need to be hand delivered or shipped (USPS or express carrier) to the following address for binding:

Each bound copy costs approximately $40.00. This price does not include the charge for shipping the manuscript to the Bookstore; however, it does include the charge to ship the finished product to the candidate. Credit cards are accepted. ProQuest UMI Orders
Digital submission to ProQuest is optional; it is not required by the University. Authors electing to publish their manuscript with ProQuest may choose to order a bound copy during the online submission process. Each bound copy costs approximately $56.00 (price decreases if multiple copies are ordered). Credit cards are accepted. NOTE: If you choose to submit your manuscript to ProQuest through the UMI ETD Administrator
site, you must notify the Graduate School Associate Dean, Dr. Ethan Carver, at Ethan-Carver@utc.edu to inform him of your submission for final approval.
