University Employee Accommodation Requests
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is committed to adhering to the Americans with Disabilities Act-Amendments Act (ADA-AA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. The ADA requires employers with 15 or more employees to provide qualified individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to benefit from the full range of employment-related opportunities available to employees.
The disability accommodation process at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is designed to explore reasonable accommodations for staff and faculty with disabilities in a deliberative and interactive way. Accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis as part of a cooperative effort between the employee and appropriate University personnel. This process is designed to be consistent and transparent with the focus on finding a reasonable and agreed upon accommodation.
If you feel that you will need assistance with this process, please contact the Disability Resource Center at (423)-425-4006, or submit the Employee Disclosure Form directly to the office in 108 University Center or through email to Michelle-Rigler@utc.edu.
