A Chattanooga native, Jayne Arnold Holder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. While at UTC, she served as head majorette, was a member of Mortar Board and was named to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. She is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority.

Jayne is the current Assistant Vice Chancellor for Alumni Affairs. Before holding this position, she served as Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving at UTC and also taught school in Memphis.

An active community volunteer, Jayne has served on the UTAA Board of Governors, UTAA Women’s Council, University of Chattanooga Foundation and American Heart Association Board. She is a past president of the UTC Alumni Council. In 2010, she was named a Chattanooga Woman of Distinction. She is also a Distinguished Alumni at Chattanooga Central High School. Jayne is currently vice president of the Chattanooga Quarterback Club, a lifetime member of the Ronald McDonald House Board of Directors where she served as president for three years, and serves on the Tennessee Regional Lung Association Council.

Jayne is a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. Her late husband, Dr. Ronald G. Holder, was a graduate of UTC and the UT Center Health Science Center College of Dentistry. She has three children, two sons-in-law and two granddaughters.
