How UTC is using Social Media

UTC primarily uses Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Foursquare, LinkedIn and Instagram for the official acounts managed by the Office of Communications and Marketing. Other departments and  campus units have social media.

The main UTC outlets on social media are clearly marked as officially representing the University. While they replace traditional forms of communication to important University constituencies, they are part of the multiple platforms through which we communicate.

All of these official accounts use The UTC Power C to communicate to fans, followers and viewers that content is official UTC information. Other departments and offices are asked not to use this exact logo.
