Mocs Advance to SoCon Semis with Third Win of the Year Over ETSU

Alphonso Pugh scored 18 points and led four UTC players in double figures Thursday to lead the Mocs to a 77-70 victory over East Tennessee State in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference Men's Basketball Tournament.  Read more

Southern Conference Tournament men's and women's play will be held Wednesday, March 2 through Saturday, March 5 at UTC's McKenzie Arena and MacClellan Gym.

Enjoy the blue and gold as area restaurants and the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce show their support for the Mocs and the Southern Conference, which both share team/tournament colors.

Ticket Information

Ticket Prices: $60 for an all-session book that includes admission to all 21 games;
$12 per session (two games) reserved seat or general admission;
***$6 for student single-session tickets with valid student ID.***

TOURNAMENT TICKET INFORMATION

The 84th edition of the Southern Conference basketball championship will tip off on Wednesday, March 2 in Chattanooga, TN. The men's tournament, the oldest in the nation, will be played at McKenzie Arena on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The first two rounds of the women's tournament will be played at Maclellan Gym on the Chattanooga campus with the semifinals and championship game being played in McKenzie Arena.

Each tournament begins opening round play on Wednesday, March 2 with each tournament's quarterfinals on Thursday, March 3. Both the men's tournament and the women's tournament will hold
their semifinals in the McKenzie Arena on Friday, March 4 and each championship game will be contested in the Arena on Saturday, March 5. All weekend games will be carried live on either regional or national television.

SoCon Tournament on the radio

All Southern Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament games this week will be broadcast locally on the radio.

The semifinals Friday and the finals Saturday will be broadcast on 1370 AM.

Each men's game will be broadcast on 1370 AM.

If you can't make it to the games over at Maclellan Gym and McKenzie Arena, please tune in on the radio.
