Vocalists encouraged to participate in UTC Summer Chorale

The UTC Summer Chorale, a choral ensemble that is open to college students and to community members free of charge, will begin rehearsals for its second season beginning Tuesday, May 31 at 7 p.m. in UTC’s Cadek Hall room 310. No registration is necessary.

The Chorale is directed by UTC Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Kevin Ford and is accompanied by David Friberg, organist at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian. The literature will include, among others, the first coronation anthem, “Zadok the Priest” by Handel, “Saul” by contemporary Norwegian composer Egil Hovland, “Cantique de Jean Racine” by Fauré, the “Messe Solennelle” by French composer Louis Vierne.
