New Exhibit Scheduled at UTC Cress Gallery

Artist Glenn Goldberg directs the installation of an exhibition of his sculpture and two-dimensional work, Escape Objects and Drawings in the Cress Gallery of Art at the UTC Fine Arts Center. Goldberg will visit classes and studios as well.

On Thursday, October 26, at 5:30 p.m., Goldberg will give a talk in the UTC Fine Arts Center. Following his lecture, the opening reception for his exhibition will take place in the FAC lobby.

Goldberg was born in Bronx, New York, in 1953. He lives and works in New York City, maintaining a studio while teaching at Parsons School of Design's graduate division in painting, and at the New York Studio School Program. Goldberg has also served as an instructor/visiting artist at the Chautaugua School of Art and the Vermont Studio Center for the past eight years. Represented in the U.S. by Knoedler Gallery, NYC, Goldberg's work receives international exposure and recognition. As a painter, Goldberg works in three-dimensions, easily traversing the boundaries between disciplines.
