Mr. Burge is a Transmission Planning Engineer for Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His responsibilities include performing voltage and generator stability studies for the planning time horizon, as well as perform interconnection studies for inverter-based resources such as solar, wind, and battery storage. Previously his responsibilities in performing steady state analysis and short circuit analysis on TVA’s transmission system as well managing transmission projects through the concept phase into the design phase.

Mr. Burge earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from Mississippi State University in 2013 and a M.S. in electrical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2017. He is a member of the IEEE Power and Engineering Society, IEEE Chattanooga Section, and Eta Kappa Nu.
