Rollins College of Business and the University. Studies show that students who are
involved in extracurricular activities generally have a more positive college experience
and often see greater career success.
SMILE Fund (Student Managed Investment Learning Experience)
The Student Managed Investment Learning Experience (SMILE) Fund was formed in February 2015 and provides select UTC students the opportunity to manage a real stock portfolio for a real client. The SMILE Fund manages $250,000 from the UC Foundation . Students who participate in this experience with a proficient knowledge of portfolio management, investment strategies, and equity valuation techniques. Participants also gain:
- Hands on experience managing REAL MONEY
- Potential academic and financial awards in course credits and scholarship awards
- Knowledge in investment analysis, security selection, and portfolio management
- Training and certification in the world's leading investment software
The Financial Management Association (FMA) is the most widely recognized international organization for both professionals and students in the finance field.

The Trading and Investment Club's mission is to promote best practices in portfolio management, trading and investment by cultivating intelligent investing and trading strategies in a real-world global setting.
Club activities include trading competitions, investment research challenges, site visits and other experiential learning opportunities, guest speakers and networking events.
