Alexis Hurley serves as Project Coordinator for the Chancellor’s Office. Originally from Columbia, TN, Alexis began her journey in Chattanooga as an undergraduate student in 2014. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Promotions in 2018.

While a student at UTC, Alexis was involved in the Homecoming Student Steering Committee, the Campus Activities Board (CAB), St. Jude Up ‘til Dawn, Freshman Senate, Alpha Gamma Delta International Fraternity, and completed an internship for Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy and Chattanooga Preparatory School in their Office for Development and Community Engagement. She received the 2018 Public Service Award from the UTC Alumni Board and Office of Student Development. Alexis served a student assistant in the Chancellor’s Office before joining the team as Project Coordinator in January of 2019.

Alexis most enjoys serving UTC and its students. However, when she is not on campus, her time is devoted to family, friends and her dog, Monkey. She is proud to have joined the ranks of so many of her mentors and role models as a UTC staff member.
