Meet Your Instructors:

Kim Sexton Headshot

Kim Sexton, SHRM-SCP

Kim Sexton is a senior level human resources professional with over 25 years of healthcare experience in human resources, management, and operations. She currently serves as an HR Consultant for Erlanger and previously served as the Director of Human Resources for Erlanger’s ContinuCare Health Services. Before joining Erlanger, Kim was the Director of HR for Hutcheson Medical Center and Covenant Health Systems. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Planning and Administration from UT Knoxville. Kim is also a member of SHRM Chattanooga and serves as the College Relations Chair.

Venessa Campbell, J.D., SHRM-CP

Venessa Campbell is an attorney, human resource professional, and certified mediator with more than 12 years of experience in HR employee relations and legal compliance She currently serves as a TN Supreme Court listed mediator for Arbitration and Mediation Services handling both legal and interpersonal conflict in workplace disputes, business contracts, and general civil/family matters. Prior to joining AMS, Venessa served as Director of Human Resources and Compliance for Vann Homecare Services. She holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Cumberland Law School. She is a member of SHRM Chattanooga and currently serves alongside Kim as a member of the College Relations Board.
