Sandra Affare

Dr. Sandra Affare, PMP

Sandra Affare is a wife, mother, small business owner and a retired engineer. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Sandra received her Ph.D. in Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Sandra served as a Project Engineer, Project Manager and Senior Compliance Analyst for almost twenty-one years at Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) where she performed research and co-authored three papers on transmission technologies. Sandra retired from TVA as a result of their reduction in force.

Sandra received her Project Management Professional designation in June 2005. Sandra works as a Project Management Consultant and is currently the Director of Training for the Chattanooga PMI Chapter. Additionally, she is a Personal Financial Analyst with the largest financial services marketing company in North America.

In her spare time, as if that should exist, Sandra enjoys scrapbooking, jazz music, home decorating and inspirational reading. Sandra, her husband, Gabriel, and daughter, Elisabeth, reside in Chattanooga.

 
 
Jonathan Seifried

Jonathan Seifried, M.A., PMP

Alabama native, Jonathan Seifried is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), business owner, consultant, and university instructor based in Auburn, Alabama. Jonathan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Master of Arts degree in Communication from Auburn University. After having worked as a project manager for several years, Jonathan earned the PMP designation in 2011 and has used his skills in a variety of projects in the technology sector. As a Director for a custom software company engaged in government contracts, Jonathan has project management experience in all 10 of the PMBOK® Knowledge Areas as he has been involved with large-scale software projects from the initial procurement phase through project implementation and closure.

 

In addition to his project management experience, Jonathan is a university lecturer where he has taught undergraduate courses in the Communication discipline for the past 12 years. Jonathan is also the owner of Plainsman Consulting, a business consulting firm specializing in proposal management services and project management consulting.  Jonathan’s unique blend of project management and university classroom experience allows him to effectively disseminate information to audiences. Jonathan’s goal for this course is to provide a combination of the instruction materials and real-world examples to assist all attendees as they prepare to sit for the PMP Certification Exam.

 

Stacy Langley

Stacy Langley, M.S., PMP

Stacy Langley is the Director of Project Management at Covenant Transport Group with extensive experience working with all organizational levels creating, promoting, and delivering critical projects designed to support the organization’s business objectives. Stacy is passionate about creating an interactive and enjoyable business environment that supports learning and efficient project management processes. She created the project management function “from the ground up” at Covenant Transport Group which has an emphasis on training project champions from around the company on project management methodologies. Stacy also leads and manages a team of Project Managers as well as manages critical projects within the organization.

Previously, Stacy was a Project Manager at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee where she gained over nine years of project management experience through various roles.  There she set managed projects for new products, mobile applications, product implementations, and new business development and business intelligence.  Additional roles allowed for added experience in product development, internal audit, and subrogation/legal fields.

Stacy is a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI) and has a Master of Business Administration degree in Project Management from Northcentral University.  Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
