Supplemental Instruction (SI)

female student studies in the library

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a study program that provides help for students in courses traditionally considered difficult, primarily in the fall and spring semesters.

SI provides help for students in:

  • Biology 2060 and 2080
  • Chemistry 1110 and 1120
  • Physics 1030 and 1040

*Course list will be updated closer to the beginning of fall semester

Statistics show that the more students attend, the better their grades.

What happens during SI?

  • Students review notes
  • Discuss readings
  • Develop organization tools
  • Prepare for exams
