Join us on our new UTC Outdoors annual ski trip! This year, we are going to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. With almost 3,000 acres and 165 named trails to explore, there is plenty of mountain to carve!

This includes a base elevation of 6,900 feet, summit of 10,568 feet, 14% beginner, 42% intermediate, and 44% advanced runs. Let’s not forget an average of 336 inches of snowfall each year. Once you are off the mountain for the day, the resort and surrounding areas have a nice collection of mountain-living experiences to complement your shredding. We will be collaborating with UT Knoxville Outdoor Pursuits on this unique trip, so be sure to share with your friends at UTK and UTC!

An informational meeting will be held on Thursday, August 29th from 8-9 p.m. in the ARC Spin room. Please join us to learn more about this exciting trip!

We will be staying at the Phoenix Condominiums at Steamboat.  The condos are conveniently situated directly across the street from the Steamboat Ski Area, The Phoenix at Steamboat offers beautifully furnished accommodations and easy walking to the Steamboat Gondola, Steamboat Snow School, and all base area shops and restaurants. These units feature fully equipped kitchens, private laundry, gas fireplace. Other amenities include outdoor hot tubs, outdoor heated pool, fitness room, and free Wifi Access.

This trip is based on Maximum Occupancy. For example, a 6-person condo has a bedroom with two queen beds and a pull-out couch that sleeps two. If an individual would like their own bed/room, an additional fee of $485 can buy each open space (if available). There is a 99.9% chance you will have to share a room/bed unless you’re able to purchase an open bed. The trip leader will work with each group in an attempt to secure the most appropriate room for them.
