Research Interests: My research interests center around the impacts upon community ecology that are caused by the rapid decline in amphibian populations due to anthropogenic causes. Specifically, I am looking at its impact upon the ichthyological, entomological and herpetological sub-communities within the greater wetland community.
Interesting Facts about Jarid: Along with being a graduate student, I am a cadet in the University’s Army ROTC program and am working towards commissioning as a 2nd Lt. after graduating with my Masters. I am also a member of the Alpha Honors Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, as well as being an SGA Outstanding Senior Award recipient for my Environmental Science studies.
