CAS General is a residential learning community sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences. It is open to students pursuing degrees in the following programs: Anthropology, Art, Biology, Chemistry, Communication, Criminal Justice, Environmental Science, English, Geology, History, Mathematics, Modern and Classical Languages, Music, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Service, Religion, Sociology, and Theatre.

CAS General also welcomes undeclared students interested in exploring these majors. With cohort classes, mentoring, and engaging activities, CAS General students will develop a sense of community and acquire the knowledge, skills, and confidence to transform their passions into careers.
