Congratulations on being readmitted to UTC. WELCOME BACK! We are excited that you are continuing your journey at Chattanooga's University. We've outlined the next steps in UTC's enrollment process so you can make sure and secure your space back at UTC.
An important first step in becoming a UTC student is to connect to our online portal called MyMocsnet. The link above will give detailed instructions on how to set up your password. Our primary way to contact you with important dates & information is through your official university email account. The University will communicate official information through this account now that you have been accepted. The link to MyMocsNet is located in the upper right hand corner of UTC’s home page www.utc.edu.
More than 75 percent of our students receive some form of financial aid. You can fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) beginning October 1st. In order to receive the most funding possible, we recommend filing by April 1st.
It’s never too early to apply for a room in one of our premiere Residence Halls. You can submit an online housing application beginning November 1st for Fall 2015.
Students living in campus housing are required to participate in a campus meal plan. Check out the Campus Dish for more information!
You can find out your registration time by checking the "Academics" tab in myMocsNet under the "registration status". You will need to make sure to set up an appointment with an advisor in the department of your major in order to receive your registration PIN. If you are an undecided student, please contact the Center for Advisement.
If you want to park in a UTC lot, you'll need a decal. There are two kinds of parking decals at UTC - reserved and general. Reserved (blue) decals guarantee you a post in a specific lot. Reserved decal holders can also park in any general lot. A general (yellow) decal enables you to park in your general lot, but not in a reserved lot. UTC sells an unlimited number of general decals.
After you register for courses, you will receive a financial statement called the "Mocs Express Statement from the University sent to your UTC email account. This statement will reflect all tuition that you owe, plus any housing, meal plan and other applicable fees. Your financial aid and scholarships will also be credited on the statement. If you don't pay by the deadline, you will be dropped from your courses.
