Accounting Career Awareness Program

The Gary W. Rollins College of Business 2022 Accounting Career Awareness Program (ACAP) is a free, multiple-day summer program for minority/under-represented high school students interested in accounting, finance, and business. This four-day residential summer program is provided free of charge to all participants.
The program is open to rising high school juniors and seniors who minority/under-represented students (i.e., Native American, African American, Asian American, Hispanic) who are academically talented rising high school juniors & seniors (a junior/senior in the fall of 2022) with a minimum GPA of 2.85.
In addition to providing students the opportunity to interact one-on-one with professors and successful business professionals through a variety of workshops, company visits, and seminars, participants will:
- Learn business concepts
- Network with business professionals
- Participate in business case studies
- Compete for scholarships
Participating students will get a preview of college life and the Chattanooga experience through recreational events that include activities, picnics, visits to area attractions, and more. Download our program flyer.
