National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)

The 2021 NSSE administration has concluded. The next administration will be in the spring of 2022.

What is NSSE? 

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga wants to improve your educational experience, and you can help by completing the NSSE. This national survey gives UTC a comprehensive picture of how extensively our students are actively engaged, academically and socially, within our community. Results from this survey provide critical information that helps UTC improve our students' success. 

Why should you complete the NSSE?

Let your voice be heard!

NSSE is important because it gives students the opportunity to provide feedback on their university experience, which can help us make the learning experience better! Each year UTC's student responses are compared to similar institutions nationwide. This allows UTC administrators and faculty to identify ways academic and student support programs can be strengthened.

The results can be found here. They are updated and made public annually.
