Urban IMPACT

Urban IMPACT is committed to improving high needs public schools by preparing novice teachers for success. Our goals:

to equip beginning teachers with the necessary skills to succeed in working with diverse student populations, utilizing technology enhancements where appropriate
to establish a system of professional and social supports needed by novice and preservice teachers assigned to high needs schools
to develop a broad-based understanding of, and support for, improving the preparation of teachers in urban contexts through the dissemination of information across the state and the nation
