If you are a Blackboard pilot tester, the Center for Online and Distance Learning
would like to thank you for your participation. Your participation helps us prepare
the rest of campus for the upgrade. If you would like more information about the
Blackboard pilot please contact Erin Noseworthy.
Courses volunteered for the pilot will be available to the instructor of record in the new Blackboard environment (found at bb5.utc.edu) on December 3, 2013. Pilot courses will also exist in the current version of Blackboard (found at bb4.utc.edu). However, pilot courses in the current version of Blackboard will be populated with an information page for students, which will redirect them to the new version of Blackboard. You are free to communicate the information to your students in the method that is most appropriate for your courses (an email before the semester begins for example).
Please tell your colleagues and students about the Blackboard upgrade on May 5, 2014. Ask them to visit the Blackboard upgrade webpage to learn more and sign up for an information session or workshop.
