Nursing Transfer Students

Acceptance of transfer and substitute credits to meet requirements of the curriculum will be determined by the school faculty. Transfer students must meet the same standards as other students in the program. Decisions regarding placement of transfer students in the curriculum are made on an individual basis.

The faculty in the School of Nursing reserve the right to make exceptions to the admission requirements. Written requests for exceptions to admission requirements, supported by evidence of extenuating circumstances, will be considered by the Academic Affairs Committee after an official application for admission to the School of Nursing has been filed.

Students wishing to transfer from another nursing program must complete a nursing application by the announced deadline. Copies of the nursing course syllabi completed, all college transcripts and a letter of good standing must be included in the nursing application packet.
