Responsive Video Snippets

When you insert a video from YouTube or Vimeo on a responsive website, the video must be enclosed in a division that controls the width and height of the embedded video object. The code for these divisions is provided by snippets.

All of the below are available via the Insert Predefined Snippets button (snippet wysiwyg icon). Look in the Video Category.

  • “Normal” video is 4x3 aspect ratio (4 units wide by 3 units tall), NTSC standard (640x480px video)
  • “Wide / HD” video is 16x9 aspect ratio (16 units wide by 9 units tall), 1080p or 720p HD video standard

Begin a row by creating a new blank line or paragraph; embedded videos will not work in-line in with text.
