April joined the UTC and University Relations family when hired as the Manager of Graphic Design in 1999. She is responsible for creating and maintaining a visual identity for the University. This often includes creating materials such as postcards and brochures, annual reports and billboards, and even graphics for UTC's World Wide Web presence. She also works closely to create a strong marketing presence for the University to support recruitment and community outreach. She creates visuals in a way that ensure the University's mission is strongly represented in marketing and promotional materials.
April got her BFA from the University of Memphis in 1996 and became a proud UTC Alumna in 2006 after graduating with her MBA. On an average day away from UTC, she will likely be spending time with her husband, Jody and her two dogs, Hannah and Adobe. She has recently discovered flat water kayaking and busy discovering the region via the waterways.
