Georgiana KotarskiSixth Annual Lupton Library Author Series presents Georgiana Kotarski

The Sixth Annual Lupton Library Author Series at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga presents local author and UTC graduate Georgiana Kotarski on Tuesday, March 27 at 7 p.m. in the UTC University Center Auditorium.  Kotarski recently published the book Ghosts of the Southern Tennessee Valley

The public is welcome to this event; there is no charge.

Ghosts of the Southern Tennessee Valley is the winner of the Storytelling World Award, in the category of Storytelling Collections, sponsored by the Storytelling World Journal.  Ghosts of the Southern Tennessee Valley is published by Blair Publishing Company.

Among the thirty stories in Ghosts of the Southern Tennessee Valley is a ghost story about UTC.  The author’s research for the book covered the region of the southern Tennessee River Valley, including Chattanooga, southeastern Tennessee, northern Alabama, and northwestern Georgia areas.

Kotarski holds the B.S. from the University of the South, the B.B.A. from Kennesaw State University, and the MPA from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She has published more than 40 articles in local and national magazines and has written numerous grants.
