Holder named UTC Alumni Director
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga announces the appointment of Jayne Holder as director of Alumni Affairs.
Holder currently serves the University asdirector of Major Gifts and Planned Giving in the Division of University Advancement. Previously, she worked in the UTC Alumni Office and for the Hamilton County Schools.
“The University was fortunate to have many outstanding applicants for this position. Jayne brings a wealth of experience to this position along with a passion for UTC and a love of alumni programming. We believe she will continue the excellent history this campus has in alumni relations and will help carry our efforts forward to the benefit of Chattanooga alumni and the campus,” said Bob Lyon, Vice Chancellor for University Advancement.
Holder has served as president of the UTC Alumni Council and has been a member of the UTC Alumni Board since 2002. She has also served on the Board of Directors at the Ronald McDonald House since 1999. She is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Holder and her late husband, Dr. Ronald G. Holder (UTC Class of 1973), are the parents of Amy, Julie, and Andy.“As a 1974 graduate and one who is very proud of UTC, I am honored to have this opportunity to extend alumni programming to everyone who claims Chattanooga’s University as their alma mater. My goal is to continue to grow the momentum of alumni involvement, building bridges to those who represent UTC so well in our community and beyond,” Holder said.
