Exhibitions and events at the Cress Gallery of Art

The Cress Gallery of Art announces two exhibitions and two events of the John and Diane Marek Visiting Artists Series.

Frank Wick’s "White Elephants" conceptual sculpture and installation and Roger Ricco’s "Small Events" color photographs can be seen October 17 - December 1.

The public is invited to a lecture by Frank Wick followed by a public reception on Tuesday, October 17 at 5:30 pm in Room 356, UTC Fine Arts Center.  Wick will remain on campus and in the community for various visiting artists’ activities through October 19.

Artist Roger Ricco of Ricco/Maresca Gallery, New York City, and Gallerist Sara Tecchia of Sara Tecchia Roma New York Gallery will be on campus and in the community on November 7 and 8. A lecture by Roger Ricco on Tuesday, November 7 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 356, UTC Fine Arts Center will be open to the public.

Cress Gallery hours are 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Mon, and Fri.; 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

All events are free and open to the public.  Gallery tours and talks are available on request.  The Cress Gallery is located at the corner of Vine and Palmetto Streets on the UTC Campus.  Visitors to the gallery may obtain a parking pass by visiting the facilities building on Palmetto Street.  Parking is free in any campus lot after 5 p.m.
