Jazz Ensemble to perform Costume Concert

A ghoulish night of funk music will be presented by UTC’s "Moc City" Jazz Ensemble on Tuesday, October 31 at 7:30 p.m. in the Roland Hayes Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Center. The Ensemble will be performing music by Edgar Winter, The Brecker Brothers, Don Menza, Joe Zawinul and many others.  Jerry Ball, who plays Tenor Saxophone and is a thirty year music education veteran, will join the Ensemble in the second half of the concert.

This is a Costume Concert, and there will be a $50 gift card to Outback Steakhouse for Best Costume. There will be trick-or-treating at intermission, hosted by the sisters of Sigma Alpha Iota in the lobby of the Roland Hayes.

There will be lighting and smoke effects used during the concert, and the volume will occasionally be loud (but tolerable).

Questions may be directed to Shane-Porter@utc.edu or (423)425-4601.
