Visit Cress Gallery to view new student art

More than 60 works of art by students in the UTC Department of Art are on display at the Cress Gallery, UTC Fine Arts Center at the corner of Vine and Palmetto Streets. The 11th Annual UTC Department of Art Juried Student Exhibition will run through January 25th.

Mira Gerard, Assistant Professor and Head of the Painting Department, East Tennessee State University, will serve as juror.

An opening reception and awards ceremony is planned for Thursday, January 13, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. 

Gallery hours for this exhibition are Monday and Friday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9 a.m. - 7p.m. The Cress Gallery is also open to the public during all Patten Series performances.

All art gallery events and receptions are open to the public. Admission is free.
