UTC Offers Three HUD Fellowships
UTC has received $90,000 to award three community building/work study fellowships for graduate students in the Master of Public Administration program beginning January 2006. These awards, funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, are designed to encourage low-income and minority graduate students to pursue their master’s degrees and gain practical experience in their career field.
Recipients, who must be full-time students for two years, will receive approximately $15,000 per year for stipends and to supplement tuition and fees. The fellowships provide a series of paid, rotating internships in government or nonprofit community planning and development agencies. The application deadline is November 15.
