Plan to Study the Stars

The UTC Jones Observatory, located 4.5 miles east of campus at 10 Tuxedo Avenue, north of Brainerd Road and Belvoir Avenue, will open on February 4 and February 18 at 5 p.m.

Look for Venus in the south southwestern sky at sunset. It is the very bright planet. In the east you will see the second brightest planet, Jupiter, and above it is Saturn. The red star between the two is Aldebaran, the eye of Taurus.
