WUTC's Dec. 25th Broadcast Features Holiday Music

WUTC, 88.1 FM, the public radio station licensed to UTC, will present a full day of holiday programming on December 25.

The schedule includes: from 6 a.m.-9 a.m., there will be a holiday edition of NPR's Morning Edition; 9 a.m.-10 a.m., a Chanticleer Christmas presents twelve acappella voices singing holiday music in close harmony; 10 a.m.-11 a.m. "Ancient Noels" brings the dulcimer, Celtic harps, and drums into the festivities; 11 a.m.-noon will be Christmas with Morehouse and Spelman College Glee Clubs; noon-4 p.m. features four hours of holiday music and narration, making a perfect afternoon of music for a holiday party; 4 p.m.-7 p.m. there will be a holiday edition of "All Things Considered"; from there will be 7 p.m.-8 p.m. Chanukah Music and the comedy of Mickey Katz; from 8 p.m.-10 p.m. there will be "A World Music Christmas," which tells the stories and shares the traditions of how different world cultures experience the holidays and finally from 10 p.m.-12 midnight, "The Paul Winter Consort's Winter Solstice" is presented.
