UTC Honored for United Way Contribution

Late last week, Chancellor Bill Stacy attended a downtown United Way celebration as Chattanoogans gave over $11,600,000.

"The first group singled out for exceptional thanks and compliments by the United Way Cabinet was the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. I was so proud to hear UTC complimented as a major giver in the community," Stacy says.

UTC contributed over $82,000, breaking all of UTC's past records of giving to the United Way.

"May I just say once again, thank you, Richard Brown, Mary Scott, Roland Carter, Julia Cronin, Nita Pugh, all of you who helped gather up the gifts and all of you who gave time and money to this year's effort," Stacy says.
