News: 4/6: Sunday 4/6 at 4:00pm our A team is having a Blue-Gold game with Offense vs. Defense. It will take place at Chamberlain Field on UTC’s campus. Come out and support us. 3/10: Music City Tune-Up was a good learning experience. We went 5-3 on the weekend and took 2nd place at the tournament. This was the first time we played JMU in a while. We had a few lapses in the final and it cost us. We have one more tournament before sectionals. 3/3: Our weekend in Valdosta returned a 5-2 record with a 5th place finish. The biggest win of the weekend: 13-1 over Emory-B. Our record this semester is 16-4-1, by far the best record of any semester in UTC history. See Thomas’s T-bag. 2/17: The tournament is over and it went well. The weather cooperated until the finals due to some shifty maneuvering of the bracket times and Auburn and UTC finished as co-champions. Thanks to all the people who made this possible. Read more details on the update page. Also: a big congrats to our B team for winning their first and 2nd games this weekend. They’ve come a long way this year and the hard work they’re putting in is really showing. 2/7: We are one week from our tournament and it is shaping up nicely. We say goodbye to a friend tonight (Tom Owen) as he heads to Memphis to take a “real” job working for Bob Corker. We’ll miss ya, T.O. 1/25: Tomorrow is our first tournament of the Spring ‘08 season. We are playing in Tuscaloosa, AL at the T-Town Throwdown. We are using this as an opportunity to grow some young talent and work on our new offense (Update: UTC went 5-2 on the weekend with key wins over Alabama). 1/14: We are one week into the spring season. Our practices have resumed at the normal time on Chamberlain field. After two long years, the website is finally up and running (October 12th). It is with great pleasure that I announce UTC’s 2nd place finish at the annual Itchfest Tournament held on Vanderbilt’s campus in Nashville, TN. Overall record on the weekend: 5-2 with both losses against the Vanderbilt Alumni team (October 7th). |
