To use our resources to the best advantage and to try and see patients promptly, SHS will see patients who have an appointment first. Appointments can be made by calling (423)425-2266 from 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Every effort will be made to see walk-in patients as time permits based on the severity of the problem.
To be fair and to prevent unnecessary waits for patients who are on time, patients who are late for their appointments may be asked to reschedule. In addition to arriving on time, please arrive prepared for your appointment...this includes having your insurance card, Mocs ID card and information pertaining to your medical history.
We ask patients to cancel or reschedule any appointment they will not be keeping to free the time slot up for another student. Cancel as far in advance as possible (preferably 12 hours or more).
Please call SHS during the regular operating hours of Student Health Services. If this isn’t possible, an after-hours voice mail message can be left at (423)425-2266. Give your name, the date and time of the appointment to be cancelled. Call the next morning to reschedule the cancelled appointment.
