Lynn Robertson is a science Clinical Instructor for STEM Education. She has taught
middle and high school sciences and served as a consulting teacher and NSF science
specialist for Hamilton County Schools. Prior to joining the STEM Education faculty,
she taught biological sciences and was an academic coach in North Georgia. She holds
an undergraduate degree in secondary education from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville)
and a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Tennessee
(Chattanooga.) Having an interest in all aspects of teaching and learning, she has
served on state Gateway assessment committees, textbook adoptions, presented at national
conferences, and compiled the Georgia state standards for Zoology. One accomplishment
she considers most rewarding is the number of new teachers she has mentored that are
now successful classroom instructors. And one professional goal she wishes she could
accomplish...stamping out "cook book" labs!
