Challenger Center

Perry Storey, Director of the Challenger Center, is working with 15 juniors from the STEM School. He is looking for mentors/helpers to help during project-based lessons. More information will be given upon inquiry.

Every quarter, CGLA hosts a STEM Night Open House for students and their families. The most recent STEM Night took place on October 4. STEM Education has been invited to take part in this Open House. We'll prepare one or two STEM lessons, activities, or demonstrations that can be done in 15 minutes and present them to the passersby. The next date is TBD but if you're interested or have questions email stemed@utc.edu

El Mercado Latinoamericano de Chattanooga

October 29, noon-6pm

Art 120 is teaming up with local artists, musicians, storytellers, craftspeople, makers, and vendors to provide a unique Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) learning experience that is full of festival fun to support Chattanooga’s Latino community. They are also hosting an Art Supplies Drive for our friends and neighbors, The Howard School.
