| October 24-28 | Checkpoint 2 Preparation | Contact Matthew Smith to verify that you are aware of the necessary steps needed to complete Checkpoint 2.The first step should be to verify that you meet the ACT/SAT requirements. Please confirm that your scores are acceptable this week. | ||
| October 28 | Praxis I Scheduled (if necessary) | Students not meeting the ACT/SAT requirements must schedule their Praxis I test by this date. The Praxis Test must be scheduled to be taken by November 11. Scores will be available electronically to the student approximately 3 weeks after the test date. The student must email their electronic copy of their scores to Avalon [email protected] as soon as you can access. The scores only remain accessible online for approximately 30 days after they are initially sent to the student. | ||
| November 11 | Deadline to Submit ALL application materials | Admission Packet must be complete and include: -UTeaChattanooga application -Application for Interview -Resume -Copy of transcript. Can be printed from Banner. All materials must be received by UTeaChattanooga Administrative Assistant, Linda Gehron, Rm. 114 | ||
| November 2-11 | Essays* | Schedule an hour for the essay. Essays and interviews can be scheduled separately, but must be completed by November 18th | ||
| November 8-18 | Interviews* | You will receive an email for an appointment once all of your application materials have been received. Schedule 30 minutes for the interview. Essays and interviews can be scheduled separately, but must be completed by November 18th. | ||
| December 16 | Admission decisions announced | Letters will be mailed to the address that was provided on the application. Expect to receive letter by the end of the month. |
*Students may sign up for timeslots in Linda Gehron's office in Rm #114.
