The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Geography

offers a degree in Sociology and Anthropology with a major concentration in Sociology or Anthropology. We also offer a minor in Geography. All three disciplines expose students to the variation that exists in human societies, cultures, and our physical landscapes, while providing students with analytical skills and a knowledge base that will facilitate  their ability to work in an increasingly global society. Therefore, our students are prepared for a variety of career opportunities and/or graduate studies. A number of internship opportunities are also available through the department that give students  "real-world" experience is their field of study.
