Praxis Exams

If you fall under the checkpoints you can apply for student teaching, but you cannot register or receive a placement until you have provided documentation that you have passed all required Praxis exams for your licensure (see below). Scores must be received by UTC at least 2 weeks prior to the start of Student Teaching.

Scores must be received by August 1 if you Student Teach Fall 2014 and December 19 if you Student Teach Spring 2015.

NOTE:  Posted on the ETS website are separate schedules for paper-delivered and computer-delivered tests.  All computer-delivered tests have a “5” prefix (ex: 5014 Elementary Education: Content Knowledge), while all paper-delivered tests have a “0” prefix (ex: 0014 Elementary Education: Content Knowledge).
