Important Announcements

Are you a HOPE Scholarship recipient and thinking about taking classes at another institution?

Students may choose to take classes at UTC & another institution (fall/spring/summer) and still receive their HOPE Scholarship from UTC based on the combined hours, if otherwise eligible. If classes are taken at both institutions, the award amount is based on UTC's rate of $2000/semester for full-time students. If classes are all taken at the eligible host institution, the award is based on the type of institution (max $2000/term at a 4-yr school; max $1000/term at a 2-yr school). Supplemental awards are paid the same at either institution.

Here are the steps to apply for HOPE to cover classes taken at another eligible TN institution:

Have you considered dropping a course?
