Annual Safety & Health Audit


POLICY:

Per University of Tennessee System-Wide Policies on Safety & Health, the UTC Department of Safety and Risk Management will assist University Wide Administration in accomplishing an annual safety and health evaluation, review and audit of the UTC campus.

PROCEDURE:

The UTC Department of Safety and Risk Management is responsible for:
  1. At the time of the audit, have available for review any documents requested by UWA during pre-audit or listed as a key factor.
  2. Assist UWA auditors in site visits while on the UT Chattanooga campus.
  3. Following completion of audit, the Department of Safety and Risk Management will review the written audit report and, if necessary, seek clarification of any findings prior to set abatement dates.
  4. Abate any audit findings within the time frame provided by UWA.
