Ensuring food and workplace safety is a serious responsibility when serving food to the public.  Whether you are a UTC employee or a student organization planning a special event, this ServSafe training will teach you how to safely serve and maintain food during an event.

Training is available through our office.  Our certified ServSafe instructor will teach you the following:

  • How Food Becomes Unsafe
    • Contaminants from the environment
    • Biological contaminants
    • Chemical contaminants
    • Physical contaminants
  • Your Role In Keeping Food Safe
    • Personal hygiene
    • Cross-contaminants
    • Time and temperature guidelines
