NDPTC Training Course Information

The Social Media for Natural Disaster Response and Recovery Course will be hosted the day before the Best Practices Conference on Monday, March 10. The course will be located at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga campus within the same conference venue. This is a free training offered by the National Domestic Preparedness Training Center based in Hawaii. Seating is first come, first serve and is limited to 30 participants. Please follow the procedures listed below to register for the course. If you have any problems with registration, please email shelbey-thompson@utc.edu

Registration Information

For participants to register for the course on the NDPTC website, they will need to create a profile first. This allows you to register for the course online and complete the pre-test. **Please be sure to complete the pre-test before the day of the course**.

2) Please click on the LOGIN button.

3) Please click on- Do not have an account? Click here to create one.

4) Complete the profile information, and create your username and password.

5) You will receive an email to verify your profile. Please click the link in the email.

6) Please re-visit the NDPTC webpage and click LOGIN

7) Please login with your username and password.

8) Once logged in, please click on the TRAINING tab.

9) Select the 3/10/2014 Chattanooga, TN course delivery offering.

10) The course delivery information page will open, please scroll to the bottom and click REGISTER.

11) The detail/logistic delivery page will open, please scroll to the bottom and click COMPLETE PRE-TEST.

Course Location

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga campus: University Center, Computer Labs located at 749 East 5th Street, Chattanooga, TN (Google Maps)
