Mission Statement and Core Values
- The UTC Department of Public Safety is responsible for ensuring that a safe and secure environment exists to support the Universities’ educational mission. Quality of life substantially affects learning, and that quality is preserved by the enforcement of rules and laws. As educators, the Public Safety staff provides or facilitates instruction in safety related topics. The Department provides services to the University community in a professional, respectful, knowledgeable and skillful manner, with the highest standards of ethics, accountability, dignity, equity and fairness.
