UTC supports downtown survey
UTC faculty, staff, and students are being encouraged to complete a brief
survey regarding an economic development strategy for Chattanooga’s central
business district. The project is being coordinated by the City
of Chattanooga,
the Chattanooga Area Chamber
of Commerce, and the River City
Company. This
initiative will help determine and market the unique assets of downtown Chattanooga
to increase high-impact job opportunities downtown.
“As our community’s higher education leader, UTC has an important
role in economic development for our region. It is appropriate for our faculty,
staff, and students to employ our resources of intellectual capital to address
our community’s needs and to play active roles in our city’s future.
I hope many from the UTC community will participate in this effort,” said
UTC Chancellor Roger Brown.
Complete the brief survey and let your voice be heard.
