Chancellor-elect makes preview visit
Although he doesn’t officially take office for a few more days, Chancellor-elect Dr. Roger Brown and his wife Dr. Carolyn Thompson were in town earlier this week to participate in a few events. Dr. Brown spoke to the first cohort of candidates for the new Doctorate in Educational Learning and Leadership Monday morning. After several meetings throughout the day, they participated in the UTC Alumni Board’s annual picnic on Monday evening. After another day of meetings on Tuesday, they visited with new and old members of the Chancellor’s Roundtable at their annual picnic.
Dr. Brown’s official first day on the job is Wednesday, June 15.
