Former U.S. Ambassador to speak

College of Business and the Probasco Chair of Free Enterprise will
host a campus visit by the Honorable Mercer Reynolds III, former U.S. Ambassador
to Switzerland and Liechtenstein at noon on Monday, October 10. Reynolds
is co-chairman of the Cincinnati-based investment firm Reynolds, DeWitt & Co.,
and Chairman and CEO of Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia, a 12,000-acre
lake and golf community. Reynolds’ presentation will be free and
open to the public.
Reynolds currently serves on the boards of directors of Restaurant Management, Inc., Sena Weller Rohs Williams, and Hillstreet Capital Partners, Ltd.
Reynolds, a Chattanooga native, received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. During the Bush-Cheney 2000 campaign, the Honorable Reynolds served as a member of the National Executive Committee and as chairman of the campaign, and in August 2001, he assumed the post of U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
