Brass Day logo

UTC Brass Day is an annual day-long clinic for high school brass players. You will have the opportunity to play with other players and to work with UTC Music Dept. Faculty and guest clinicians who specialize in your instrument. Brass Day is held in the UTC Fine Arts Center Roland Hayes Concert Hall and other music department classrooms and performing spaces. There is no charge to attend this event.

Brass Day for 2014 will be April 26, 2014 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 

Registration deadline is Friday, April 18, 2014.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: UTC has adopted new policies regarding minors on campus which are requiring us to collect additional information and require parental contact information. You will NOT be able to participate without this information. Additionally, a parent or legal guardian will have to be present at sign-in on Brass day and will have to remain with the student throughout the event. Students showing up without parent or guardian will not be allowed to participate in the event.

On the day of the event, if your student is to be released to any other person besides a parent or legal guardian, written permission must be provided.  Should you need to contact your student during the event in the case of an emergency, please call Dr. Erika Schafer at 423-425-4641 or Campus Security at 423-425-4357.
